Start planning your songs now! Prep your favorite solo song, and/or plan a duet or a group song! Props are encouraged, drinks are suggested, and practice is optional. Come have some fun and meet up with the other guests and a few locals to kick off the weekend. Grab dinner ahead of time, and we will then meet you at the L & M Bar (360 Dock Street) after our family-only Rehearsal Dinner. L & M is the last old bar standing on the dock after the destruction wrought by a fire and Hurricane Helene in August of 2024.

Fully booked! This beautiful "day" on the water, out in nature, is subject to weather. Unless you hear otherwise, the trip will start at 8:30 am sharp and will run for approximately four hours. Help catch dinner for that evening's Fish Fry, learn about the various surrounding barrier islands, take in the incredible nature in this area of Florida known as Nature's Coast, and frolic on a secluded beach. The captains will provide water and will have a cooler if you need to keep other drinks cold. Ben from 1842 Daily Grind will provide boxed lunches for those who have ordered, and they will be at the boat ramp at the marina waiting for you. Do not forget your bag, sunscreen, hat, flip-flops, towel, sunglasses, and a ziplock bag for your cell phone. (Dramamine?) Dace's sister, Jolie Davis, will be setting up a scavenger hunt around Cedar Key. In addition to being loads of competitive fun, this will enable those of you who haven't gotten around yet to see different parts of the island. You'll need a golf cart to get around so, if you don't have one, then team up with someone who does! Meet at 649 2nd Street (Jolie's house) at 3:30 pm for instructions before the starter's gun goes off. In case you don't want to wear your dinner outfit on the hunt, you'll have a little time to change for dinner, unless you get "stuck" at Bonishes (one of the local bars). Hunt until you win, quit, or 5:30 pm!

Those who join our island-hopping and fishing trip will help catch tonight's dinner, which our captains will prepare for us while we embark on the Scavenger Hunt. We'll have local catches of fish as well as shrimp. Dinner will be poolside at 8061 F Street (the wedding venue). * No jeans, please. But bright, tropical colors are encouraged.

Our family home, Halcyon Escape, located at 8061 F Street, the corner of F and 1st, serves as our outdoor wedding venue, featuring events on the porch, around the pool, and in a tent, all situated on the water. Ladies may require a wrap, and please note that you will be walking on grass at times. EVERYONE, please wear your dancing shoes! Please arrive just after 6:00 pm to be seated by 6:15 pm. Thank you for your promptness.

For those who don't have to leave early, come by the family house for an informal Sunday brunch. We will once again meet around the pool.
